Yeah, I KNOW Evo is better, here is the problem.

Evo kibble is too hard for my kids teeth, they just struggle to crunch it up.   (I have Chinese Cresteds, their teeth are known not to be the hardiest around - and I'm sick of paying the dentist because they have a cracked tooth etc).

I ended up doing Bil-Jac select because they (a) like it  (b) can crunch it up.   It is mixed with a chicken loaf I make for them (chicken, garlic, green beans, small amount of rolled oats etc).

I use to feed my Rottie Cal. Natural, but that is too big for my little kids.

Any suggests and please don't say canned - I'm just not going there at this point.

Thanks

I use Karma organic dry dog food. Just took a piece out of the glass jar (keep food in glass jars to keep it fresh as I remove it from the bag after I open it) and was able to smash one piece between my index finger and my thumb (female person here) and had no problems. So this might be something you could also use. their site is: www.karmaorganic.com and the food is made by www.naturapet.com if you are interested

Could you moisten the Evo kibble with a little water to soften it a bit?  Or run the Cal Natural thru a food processor (or just put it in a ziploc bag and whack it with a rolling pin) to make it smaller?
