If you think its mold, it might not hurt to report that thru the FDA portal, in case you report it to the company and they decide to do nothing about it or try to bury the report. If FDA hadnt been dealing with this company off and on for quite awhile now it might not be as concerning but I would think they would want to know what you found. I seem to remember they had their permit taken away for a while in 2009, due to problems with their process that could result in under-cooked food. It could be an issue with more than just your cans. You might want to keep the can you have in case FDA wants it. Anyhow, just an idea.
