Hello: I had written a couple of weeks ago asking about PHD products - I had purchased them (after seeing them on the ThePetFoodList.com) but then was afraid to try them because I didn't know where they were manufactured. I still don't, but based on the healthy ingredient list (probably foolish, I know) I decided to take a chance and try the dry cat food w/my two cats - I mixed it with their existing dry food to get them used to it. Well, they loved it - they gobble it down, and it seems they already have much more energy - much more "cat-like" - in fact, they're both acting like tigers, racing around the house and jumping up on their high cat trees, tops of armoires, etc. ... so, I think maybe the food is good for them (maybe not so much for me!).  And for my dogs, I'm using the PHD "AM/PM" dry mixes. They are powder-like or dry oatmeal-like - you just add a little water. With the am mix, you just add a little yogurt and veggies, and at night, with the pm mix I add raw ground beef or chicken (now to be switched to ground turkey).  They haven't really taken to the am mix yet, but they LOVE the pm (raw hamburger) meals and vacuum them up within seconds. They also seem happier and healthier after just a week or so ... maybe my imagaination, but better that they appear healthy and happy than the alternative ..... I'm going to stick with this until someone tells me something terrible about it!
