What does anyone know about organics by nature? (bynaturepetfoods) Blue Seal, the dry dog food. I do know that their canned is manufactured by guess who menu foods. The rest is here in the states. Just curious.

My reason for posting this was to see if anyone out there had fed it to their dogs. And any feed back would be welcome.
Thanks

All I remember about them is they've been involved in a couple of recalls (so will not use them).

By Nature Organics was NOT involved in any recall.

The By Nature Organics line is made at Evangers. There have been many posts about this. It is also the same product as Brandon Farms that is sold at Krogers.

Khf, I am sorry but I believe you are incorrect. Blue Seal makes both the By Natures and Brandon Farms canned food. Both of which are canned at Menu. http://www.blueseal.com/petOwners.php

I thought only type of canned food is manufactured by menu foods.
Blue seal has a plant her e on the Mass/New Hampshire border, anyone can go in and see the making of foods and feeds, they have a great reputation.

If you go to ByNatures home page and click on "This Statement" It will bring up the letter from the President of the company stateing where their foods are made. Which takes you to the same link I posted previously. http://www.bynaturepetfoods.com/

I am just saying that I recieved a phone call from the vice president and written confirmation. I know that menu makes the Blue Seal brand canned, and even thought Blue Seal owns By Nature orgnanics, it doesnt mean its also made at menu. The pet food list says this.. "Brands include Blue Seal, Bright Life, By Nature, Life Stages Menu Foods manufactures Blue Seal - The Loaf Style wet, but it is not involved in the recall. Menu Foods is not used for any of their other products."

My Bad, not enough Coffee this morning. Was thinking Blue Something was involved - mustof been thinking of Blue Buffalo. They look okay for the dry food. Here is some interesting Commentary to peruse. http://thepetfoodlist.com/forums/index.php?topic=178.0
