I'm SO glad they finally turned these complaints into to a cohesive report! And thanks to all of you trying to pass this info around. Now maybe the problems will be more widely publicized & something will FINALLY be done about this ongoing problem with their food.

Hmmm... why am I not surprised that there are on-going problems with Nutro petfoods and that some in the CatSite are still going on and on discrediting other sites (as if what they say makes it so )

Kaffe, These two exchanges are also not surprising but interesting: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showpost.php?s=472f1da2276cb04dcf77652b3931e6d4&p=2260724&postcount=18Quote: Originally Posted by sharky Very true.. it is unfortunate that instead of making sure something is a FACT they let it be one without verifiyng
Itchmo is good for the TESTING aspect as some are paying for the foods to be tested ...
Maybe you, sharky, should heed your own advice and check your 'facts' before posting them here and elsewhere on the internet. __________________ MarySmith http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showpost.php?s=472f1da2276cb04dcf77652b3931e6d4&p=2260729&postcount=19Quote: Originally Posted by MarySmith Maybe you, sharky, should heed your own advice and check your 'facts' before posting them here and elsewhere on the internet. Now for some reason, the entire thread has POOF!-disappeared. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163912&page=2"You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: "You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again. "You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? "If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "The administrator may have required you to register before you can view this page." Maybe it's on hold while the "facts" are checked and will return when they're posted. The thread is on vacation waiting for the "facts".

I expected that it would get deleted when I challenged someone's 'facts'!! Oh well, what can you expect from a site sponsored by the big Pet Food Industry!

This was my last post in that thread:

Please post your 'proof' in this thread that 'consumeraffairs dot com' does not verify the information as fact that they post in their articles.

I personally can not understand why anyone who has actually read all of the articles that consumeraffairs.com has posted regarding the pet food would be critical of them. I have found them to be very informative and in my own personal interviews were fact based--and if only this site is keeping pet food safety in the news---so be it!!! I just don't understand the criticism when our pets' safety is at stake. and I was interviewed by an investigtive reporter who has some pretty good credentials---not an attorney.... This latest article is very informative --- I hope we all can get to the bottom of it! And maybe trout will be able to give more info from "the insider" at Nutro!

Are you saying that we have lost all ours? I think that maybe I should link some more catsite threads to here, if it will make them disappear! Specifically, the ones promoting Brand N, Brand I, Brand SD, and the like...
