Huh?.  I don't know any dry cat food that is similar to Serengeti.   There just aren't that many grain-free dry cat foods that I am aware of.

Gee, they're comparing Serengeti (which is a kibble) to raw food.   Lips sealed   Very strange.  What other grain-free dry cat foods do you know?  I'm trying to keep a list of dry and canned grain-free.  All I can think of off hand are Serengeti, CORE, EVO, and Instinct.

Thanks for the list, sharky.  Forgot about Taste of the Wild.  We don't currently feed any dry, but we used to rotate Serengeti, EVO, and CORE.  They liked them all.

Natures Logic is also grain free.  There is also Honest Kitchen and Addiction freeze dried food for dogs along with two canned Addiction varieties for cats.

Nature's Variety Instinct has a few flavors of grain-free dry food if it hasn't already been mentioned.

I am normally rotating Orijen and Serengeti, and mix both with Ziwipeak and/or Nature's Variety freeze dried. My cats won't eat much of Ziwipeak on its own (a pity, snce going by ingredients that is the best food for them, dry but not a kibble), but when I mix it with the kibble it all gets eaten eventually.

They love Orijen a lot more than Serengeti, but I think dry food should be rotated to ensure balanced nutrition, and I hope Serengeti will be available again in near future. Btw, also my cats eat more wet than dry, dry is mainly for ensuring that there are no dietary efficiencies, canned I feed is real meat or fish (in pieces, real food, I feed Aixia, Inaba, Almo Nature, Applaws) and they have no vitamins/minerals added. Just meat or fish in broth or jelly. Occasionally I feed Weruva which does have supplements but it also has less real food per can and more gravy thickened with tapioca which is not exactly optimal. However, Sophie loves Nine Liver and Stefie &Sophie are both crazy about Green eggs and chicken flavor, so I get it for them from time to time.

Anybody see any Serengeti around lately?  I keep forgetting to check when I go to the feed store.

Serengeti still isn't back in the big warehouse pet food store where I was today.  But there is no sign relating to the absence, nor has there been.  I wonder if this particular store has just discontinued it because they can't keep up the supply.

I have not seen it back on the shelves at my local natural pet supply store either.
