Found this post today while googling.  Supposedly distributed by Bumble Bee.

I've never heard of it. I wonder what happened to her cat. She posted the question, then disappeared.

The food has been around a looong time.  It was bought by Bumble Bee a few years ago.  Her post alarmed me.  She said the food looked red and the cats vomited red and had diarrhea.

It wasn't that long ago, August 7th.  That is the company that owns Castleberry, the company that had the recent recalls for botulism.

Cats.  Tuna.   Scary.

That is scary. But I agree with the person that responded to her. Tak your cat to the vet! Don't ask on a forum!

I fed my cats Figaro years and years ago and they always LOVED IT!  Used to buy it 4 cans for .99.  Yum, quality.  If I only knew then.

The food did change to a reddish color some years back, but don't remember anyone vomiting.

Thanks, Sofia.  I was just coming back to post here.  Okay, so the red color of the product is normal.  That's good to know.  Hope that posters cats are okay.

I looked at a few cans in the store today.  One flavor says Made in Thailand.  Couldn't find where the other one was made.

Oh oh. I bought a couple of cans a few months ago and my boys gobbled it up like crazy - especially my kibble-freak cat. Figured tuna-only as an occasional treat would not be so bad, but did notice Mr kibble-freak wasn't dealing well with so much rich tuna gobbled so fast (barfed red tuna does not do much for a navy blue carpet either), Didn't realize it was tied to Castleberry. Now they will not get the other can.  Angry
I've seen other BB/Castl products that were not ok, had a bulging can of (people) sardines once awhile ago-called the code into the company- they didn't even have the courtesy to have enough staff to answer phones- for complaints there was a "leave your name and number" and we "will get back to you". Ya -  right. I just left the code info and hung up. With food for pets or humans, companies just don't care. Kitties and me will take our fishie business elsewhere.
