I came across a few websites today that had the works of pet portrait artists.

One that I like is Cyrille Jubert:

The oil, watercolour and pencil portraits are lovely, and he has an amusing website where he describes the sound of a French dog's bark:  "ouah-ouah".

Do you have any favourite portrait sites?

Actually, I like to take my own photos and photoshop them.  There are some pretty cool filters you can use to get a lot of different effects.

I also take a lot of digital photos....I'm addicted.  I use several imaging software programs but I love ACDSee..They have an otion to turn a phot into an oil painting that is great..They also have a pencil drawing effect that I really liked. Roll Eyes
I ran into a man that did specialize in pet oil paintings last year at a craft show.  While his work was very nice, the cost was extremely prohibitive.  $500 for 1 dog unframed.  Cant remember the size...
