All three of mine are crazy about this, we got Kragonfly and I think I'll get other attachments too. I just cut off elastic green string bits before giving it to them, but the toy itself is surprisingly durable, it survived Sophie catching it and carrying it around and she is not exactly gentle with her toys.

I ordered from www.puuttypower.com , they also have some nice cheap (much cheaper than what I can buy locally) peacock feathers, Sophie loves the feathers.

Well, our Kragonfly only has 2 wings left on it now...its from some pretty intense playing sessions, lol  I guess pretty soon it will be flying in circles as the wings that are left are all on one side.   Cheesy

We love our Neko Flies... and thought we should report a small problem.

Our Kragonfly lost half its wings a while back  Roll Eyes but our problem is actually the tail.  It got really shredded to the point where it was like a bouquet of very thick dental floss, and it has gotten caught in between Tuesday's teef twice!  I mean, this is proof that the toy is fantastic and the kitties go nuts for it, and maybe Tuesday is just putting that much more effort into getting it since he's got so much competition, but I've had to catch him twice in order to remove the toy stuck in his teeth!

Retirement is the likely solution since there's not much left of him LOL.

I'll have to try out one of the other attachments!

The wings on the Kragonfly were the exact reason I selected other products in the line for my cats.  I have very destructive (or effective?) little predators who pull things apart, like ripping into prey...I think the wings would have lasted about .2sec in this house, so avoid anything that looks like they'd destroy it quickly.

Thankfully, Sophers doesnt pull at the wings, she just likes to jump and run after it....soooo....it appears we will be ordering a couple more replacements, LOL When the wings fall off she thankfully just ignores them and leaves them on the carpet so we have plenty of time to get to them and toss them out but I can see where some kitties might eat them if they got to them. We might try the kittycada too this time.  But you are right, catbird, they did fall off pretty quickly.

DH and Sophs have playtime sessions every evening, we really believe these playtime sessions are helping keep her immune system stimulated and working better than it otherwise would even though its still not the greatest.   I should note these playtime sessions are with a variety of toys, not just these Neko flies.

Our mousie survived two playtimes before it was completely mangled!  LOL!

Here's a photo of our Kragonfly.  We are currently on our last attachment - the spider.  If I so much as show them the handle of the toy, they go nuts!   Cheesy

August, that is hysterical!  Its funny you posted tonight in this thread, we just got our new attachment, the kittycada.  Its a hit!  Her kragonfly is missing its rear and two of its wings.  We ordered a replacement for that as well as she just loves these toys, lol  I can only imagine how fast yours must wear out, the poor toy is getting ganged up on with the number in your crew!  Grin

My pet food store has these in stock now...and it's Kozy's one month forever home anniversary, so guess who got a present today!  In less than 5 minutes he punctured the plastic wings with his teeth and I was afraid so I took it away from him Undecided  He also wants to chew on the string.  But he really wanted to catch it when I had it out, so I'll consider it a Hit.  I'm just paranoid that he's going to get hurt, or swallow something.  How fragile are these things?

Well Sophs has been through about 2 of the Kragonfly's so far.  The wings do eventually come off, but so far she hasnt eaten any of them.  I wouldnt leave it out when you arent playing but she loves it, it really imitates real dragon flies very well.  She has the small Kittenator too and likes that but just not as much as the Kragonfly.  I think the Kittenator holds up better.

Happy One Month Forever Home Anniversary, Kozy!  Wow its already been one month?  Do we get to see Happy One Month Forever Home Anniversary pictures?   Cheesy

Knowing my predatory, dismantling little beasts, I took one look at the Kragonfly and decided that the Kittenator would hold up much better!  We have it out only when we are playing with the cats, and we have had it about nine months.  So far, it's stayed together.

ETA:  I don't know what happened to our Katarantula.  I haven't seen it in awhile.

Unfortunately both Wednesday and Fhizzy want to chew and eat the string part, so I haven't bought any new attachments (and all the ones we did get are completely mangled and have since gone through retirement).

This toy is a big hit -- I wish they would make the string part of the toy out of something more durable.

I normally cut the strings on the Kragonfly, they still go crazy over it.
