just wondered if anyone out there has used this mix.  Pink does well on it, I like it because she can't eat a lot of protein, so here you add the meat and oil, rotating weekly or so.  I add that to a little of her dry and she does okay, my only concern about the food is the addition of wheat under other names, such as; spelt triticale, and I haven't looked it up, but I'm pretty sure that kamut might be a wheat source also.  Do any of youre dogs eat wheat?
p.s. I guess it doesn't really matter, but all the grains are organic

its me again, on my own personal site, if anyone ever comes on this site, I just looked up acid/alkaline grains, in my own research, I learned that dogs should have a balance of acid/alkaline in the grains they consume.  Dr. Harvey's mix has all acid, guess I won't be buying anymore of that particular food.  By the way, while I am writing to myself on my new post, I could also tell anyone that the only alkaline grains are: amaranth, millet, and quinoa, to me this is sad.

pugdaddy,

Can you give us some more information on Dr. Harvey's?  How is your dog doing?

Debi,

Let's see if he comes back.  That is the only post I have seen here so far about this product, so might not want to base your decision on that one post.

Debi,

This is how I put in the photo/avatar.  I don't know if there is an easier way.  (My photo is of one of my dogs when she was a young puppy)

If you have a photo already stored in your computer.  You need to know where on your computer the photo is.  Usually in My Pictures.

1.  When logged in, click on Profile (the tab next to the My Message tab).

2.  On the left hand side of page, click on Forum Profile Information (in the Modify Profile Section).

3.  Scroll down to heading:  I will upload my own picture.

4.   You will see a tab on the far right side that says BROWSE.  Click on the word BROWSE and you can then search your computer for the photo you want.  Once you find the photo, you click on the photo, and the file name assigned to that photo should show up on the BROWSE line.

5.  If that is the photo you want, go down to bottom of the page and click on CHANGE PROFILE.

Hopefully it worked.

If you have a photo stored on a website, I believe you select that option rather than the BROWSE option.
