Steve,
I too use Orijen.  I use www.doggiefood.com  I get the large bag for 43.99 which is 10.00 cheaper than the site you use.  Very fast shipping too!

Sorry guys, didn't find anything special about doggiefood.com as far as prices are concerned. But I don't buy the same brand that you do.

Shipping is HIGH, Prices were of no savings for me either.

No way of knowing about the quick ship because I decided not to order.

Martha,
After going down the list of online stores from the Orijen website, it really was least expensive for me to buy from doggiefood.com.  Some of the sites wanted 59.00 per bag plus shipping, another offered free shipping still at 59.00 per bag.  I paid 43.99 plus 12.00 shipping  which was cheapest for me.  They also shipped same day.  I've had bad experiences with petfooddirect.  I live within an hour drive from them, yet it took 2 weeks for my order to arrive!  They are also not good at all about answering email in a timely manner.  The good news is that a local store will now carry Orijen for me!  Yay...no more ordering!  Smiley

Sherri, you got me interested in Orijen so I went back and looked at all the online stores too. Yep, those are the same prices I found too. I think I need the Senior one and in some cases it is more than the Adult. Funny how the prices for the product and the shipping total out about the same in most cases. If they had been open today, I probably would have gone ahead and ordered a bag. I gave up their NB dry during the recalls and they really miss having some dry...and I miss having the vitamins and etc all in the foods.

It's very pricey for my financially-challenged shopping cart for 7 largeish dogs.

I guess Monday I will order a 29# bag to start with and h-o-p-e they like it. (I did that once last year with Chicken Soup for the Dog.....and they would not touch it at all. Had to give over 30 pounds of it away to some lost doggies that would up at my gate...they liked it so gave the owners the entire bag when they arrived to rescue their dogs. Of course they had been lost for 3 days, mine might have eaten it too if they hadn't eaten in 3 days. Grin Grin Grin )

I live in rural southern Va.I most always order my cat and dog and turtle supplies online.I have never had a problem with Petfooddirect,I always use a coupon,so most times I get 15 to 20 percent off.Ok so they may not ship as fast as some other companies.Because i rely on online shopping so much because of where I live I make sure I order ahead of time so I don't run out.I have 9 cats and 3 dogs and a 5 year old aquatic turtle, and they always get thier food and treats.I did have a bad experience with one company right after the recall, they charged me almost 30 dollars for shipping.Needless to say, won't be getting any more food from them.I think they were Globalpets?

I was disappointed that Kumpi wont ship to Alaska and wouldnt say why after I inquired.  We are only a 1 1/2 hour flight from Seattle and US Priority mail works great here.  We were hoping to try the food as we have a new kitten with diahrrea for 2 months now.  Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Hi Sandi K,

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitten.  You could try posting about your kitten in the Help With My Sick Pet section, too, and maybe some posters will have some ideas.

Because of the costs of treating crf and now diabetic cats, I have ordered:
petstruly.com, Epakitin, great price and received great service.

Brico Medical Supplies in NJ, sub-q fluids, infusion sets, and needles. Paid over
$34 for UPS shipping. Still way cheaper than the vet's office and good service.
