Read about you and Bandit/sorry hearing that.  Thanks for your observant eye about responding responding responding responding responding like we need to hear every thought.  Voting with your wallet love hearing.  New recall of exported food from Diamond just makes me wonder how much online or in real time can we trust.  Sorry about Bandit,,,,really sorry.

Go back and read your posts.  You comment on everyone.  409 and counting.  start an original post.
No i am not a sale rep.  Just someone trying to learn about pet food but it's hard when you have to weed through all the cwap.

Just because I am active, does not quantify your previous comments - hence, my comment to you (and no, I don't post on every thread - you can look up my stats).  Sorry about your doggy, I don't like this whole situation as well as anyone on here, and am especially PO'd when someone has had to spend for Vet Bills.

I'm just more active (many have sent private messages asking for food analysis - which I provide).  I will keep posting under the same topics (and yes, I have started one post - but why start posts when someone as already covered it?)

Your Mileage May Vary

Already replied via Bandits note - you too can post as often or little as you like - I see no rules here.

Thanks for pointing the Diamond thing out (hadn't seen it yet). When they lied to me at the same time as responding to Itchmo about their last recall (nutra nuggets - 2 different vets) - I decided that was one too many recalls for me.  Have since switched to other formulas.

However, the thread is  still about online shopping. (Returning to Topic).

My mistake.? I thought they were talking about online shopping experiences.

Huh

I don't know what the fuss is all about on your post. It looked just fine to me and was totally in line with the subject as presented.

Thanks for posting your online shopping experience.

Before you stop posting to BanditsDad, I really think you owe him an apology for your outburst.
BTW His post was perfectly fine for this topic.
If you have a previous problem, take it to the ring....like you said...it shouldn't spill over to this poll.

Will reply - was indicating my opinion of what thread was for online shopping (notice, that wasn't the only source of the post).  I didn't have an outburst - however, if you find offensive - shall apologize.  I was accused first (In my humble opinion) - I started responding.

I tried to direct the thread back to where it should have stayed.  I can appreciate BranditDad's post on Honest Kitchen (really wan't trying to pick on him - which is why there was other subject matter in the reply).

Anyway's, when it strays that far off topic, then accusations ,etc. should belong in the Ring.

Just transtioned my two cats to raw food and was ready to take the full plunge 2 weeks ago: buy grinder and supplements.  I bought my grinder on line from Northern Tools.  Excellent customer service and the shipment arrived just when they said it would.  I made the mistake of ordering my raw food supplements from Herbal Remedies.  I placed the order on June 11.  Two days later, on June 13, I got an e-mail from them confirming that they had received the order and that they will ship in "4-7 days." Huh? why that long to put the stuff in a box and mail it to me?  Anyway, I waited... and waited... and waited.  After a week passed, I called them and asked what was going on with my order.  The woman said she'll get their shipping department call me back.  They did - the next day.  Said that they were waiting for one item from the manufacturer and that they should be ready to ship "sometime this week."  I waited some more.  Still no word from them.  Today, Friday the 22nd of June, I called Herbal Remedies again.  They still have NOT shipped my order, but assured me that they have received a BIG shipment from their supplier.  "Lucky you" I said, "at least YOU have received what you've ordered."  Is there any chance that I'd receive mine?"  The woman was ful of apologies and assured me that (1) I would get my shipment "sometime next week" (here we go again); and (2) they won't charge me for shipping (yooohooohoo - am I ever so lucky!?).  I told her that they should at the very least keep their customers informed as to what is going on with their orders.  An hour later, I get an e-mail from Herbal Remedies.  Thinking that they have at last shipped my order, I eagerly opened the e-mail.  What did it say?  It was a list of what I had ordered and in the bar that says "Order Status" it said in red letters:  "Your order has not been shipped."  Oh, really?  Ya think?   Are these people RETARDED?

I will NEVER EVER order so much as a pin from Herbal Remedies.  Shopper be warned!

I've been fortunate to have had excellent online service.

I do order the bulk of my cat food & supplies online and have had excellent & quick customer service responses. I've contacted them with questions about products, sometimes backorders and about adding product to their lines - each one has been very helpful and I'm a repeat customer.  Who gets the order is based on shopping cart comparisons and can supply most of the products I need on an order or if somebody is out of stock on a item marked "critical" by my cats Smiley

One thing that I've noticed is that most appear to be reviewing what they offer and I'm not having to place as many multiple vendor orders since the pet food recall impact - company product reviews and expansion are helping get closer to one-stop shopping on most products.

PetFoodDirect
WagginTails (John, huge kudo's belong there for proactive concern for pets & pet owners)
OnlyNaturalPet
Vir-Chew-All
Only4Pets
HealthyPooch (Halo freeze dried snacks - when they had a flood in their area they immediately notified me there might be a delay and why.)

Pet Food Direct gives a 20% discount that helps to offset the cost of shipping if you type Geico in the space provided.  I've only ordered once and the delivery took 10 days to get to me however I believe there is a section you can fill out for automatic refills sent to you however often you need...monthly, weekly which would take care of the amount of time the delivery takes.

Thanks for the code. I wish I had had it when I ordered. I got 5%. Could sure have used that other 15% off...

The delivery time wouldn't be quite so bad if they didn't take your money outta your account immediately, then wait for a week to get it shipped out.

It also wouldn't be quite as bad if UPS delivered on Saturday. Knowing your order is on the truck on Friday and you can't get it until Monday sucks! Especially when you are out of pet food .
Wonder how that code would work on their automatic shipping plan?

Thanks again for your post!

www.westernfeedonline.com - - bought Orijen for my dogs - - good price, FAST shipping - they shipped same day I ordered - no inflated shipping fee - no "handling" fee (couple of my pet peeves)
