First I wonder if there is something that I can use to test it out and see if my 20 Lbs Main Coon cat Rusty will use a set of stairs ? Then if anyone has bought a set and had a great experience with the stairs?  Also looking for a jumbo litter box ? nothing fancy just jumbo for my Main Coon cat Thank you Grin AM&KMO3

I have stairs but I bought it at a yard sale several years ago. Actually meant for children so you try that angle.

There are a lot of low sided storage bins now that would work for a large litter box.  I actually bought a regular storage bin & cut a U shape on one long side for an entry point.  Kept the boy cats from peeing over the side.  Some people use those black mixing pans you can buy at hardware stores, think they are used for mixing morter and such.

The stairs should work, but what about a ramp instead of stairs?  Pine boards are cheap & you can cover it with fabric or carpet.  Easier to walk up than stairs & can be put away easily.

I'm using storage bins too, the clear plastic kind.  I have not cut the U shape in them though, so I have 2 corner van hess boxes that have a lower lip for entry for my older kitties.
