How can one find out if dog and cat food companies are using the pink substance in cat and dog food meat and fowl.

It is being used in meat and chicken for schools and fast food chains

Now Cargill i s the largest purveyor of meat  in the country, like hamburg, so I assume since it is in the meat supplied for schools it is in
the dog and cat food.  It is also in chicken used for schools and fast food chains.

Probably the only way is to contact the pfc & ask. Some are very open about ingredients & sourcing & will answer happily. Others probably don't know & wouldn't admit it if they did. They will give you the standard it's proprietary or a run around.
