I've recently started my 16-year old cat on Cosequin.  Anyone using this for their pet and getting results?

Yes, I have had several cats on Cosequin.  My 17-year-old has been on it a few years.  I have had good results.  It is not a miracle, but it seems to help them.  Like the instructions say, it takes several weeks before you see results.  Of course, like with supplements for people, everyone doesn't get results.  I have also talked to one of the veterinarians at the company and was assured of their quality checks, etc.  I have used it for years for my older and/or arthritic cats and dogs

Please consider adopting or fostering local cats/kittens, dogs/puppies if you are willing and able to.

I had used this on my cat Jasper about three years ago after he slipped a disc in a fall. It helped him immensely. I had to stop using it once I discovered he had become allergic to fish. It is fish flavored.

My almost 10 yo overweight male has been on it since January.  He has some joint issues.  It has helped him quite a bit.  Before starting it he would only get up to eat and go to the bathroom. Now he actually comes and hangs out with us and the other cats.  He'll even play again and sometimes doesn't even need his steps to get off our bed.

Syn-Flex is a similar product that works really well.  It's a liquid, so it's absorbed faster than capsule or pill type glucosamine products - we saw results within 7 days.  I would measure it out in a syringe and squirt it in my dog's mouth - he LOVED it.  It comes in a green apple flavor, and I just noticed on their website that it's also available in a beef flavor.
