They are gorgeous!

And it is amazing how you have kept track of your ancient family's migrations all over the world!
My spouse and I are mostly all Scottish by derivation. Scottish Terriers are a natural. Before our two we had a Cairn Terrier. We have had other dogs (in our adulthood and childhood) of all dog groupings and we both agreed with the oft said, once a Terrier lover always a Terrier lover. It is almost impossible to switch to another dog group after having a Terrier.
We picked Dunlap as the first word on both reggies because the Dunlaps came from the exact area that the Aberdeen Terrier hails. The foundation stock of Skye, Cairn, Westhighland, and Scotty.
We love our two! Neither of which are completely to standard but with their careful tracing of lines to have all 8 lines without inbreeding and as healthy as we could determine, most of their seven pups were completely on standard.
Our grandson Colin is exceptional! My very best friend in NY has our Colin. The pups of our pups are outstanding from the pairing of a sire Wheaten and our full red brindle granddaughter. All of our babies went to family homes where they are cherished full family members. Most placed locally. One to CA and the other to NY.
So yep, breeding counts! Gotta' know what you have and go from there.
BTW... Scot means plunderers LOL! We are decidedly NOT elitist royal snobs LOL!
