Our January pet picture theme thread is "Your Pet Family in 2010." Now is the time to take some new pictures and post them here. Challenge: Try to get of as much of your pet family as you can get in one photo! (Easier for some members than others LOL.) But single pet pictures are great, too. Post your new pictures!

Well I think Sophers qualifies as at least 2 cats rolled up into one.... But I think I can envision it now with those of you with more than one pet...I can just see it now....ok kitty#1, you sit and stay, kitty #2 you sit and stay too..oh darn it, kitty#1 get back here....kitty# 3, I havent even got to you yet....kitty #4, oh you are being good, now you stay! Kitty#3 get over here..NOW! Doggy#1, you are a good boy, you have been sitting and waiting so patiently. I get it!

LOL I can think of a couple of people who would need some kind of x-ray scanner to get a picture of all their pets at once, because it would have to go through walls into different rooms! If they get even half their pets in one picture, it will be an amazing feat!

Well, it isn't easy, but here are six of my fuzzy family watching their feathered friends. I really don't know who they all are, took it last week, but the one on the left is mother Sweetie Pie.

What a wonderful picture, BW. Wow, those mallards are soooo lucky there's glass seperating them.
Catbird, that's a truly great idea and challenging one, I just wish I could get all of mine to get along let alone take a picture together.

They seem to KNOW my cats are behind the glass, but if I step up to the glass, they all fly back into the lake. They don't seem to get that I am the one throwing the food out for them. I don't usually feed them, not supposed to where I am, but when there is no open water, or lots of snowand bitter temps etc, I do. I have a couple pair, one in particular, I call Mr. and Mrs. that live here year round. The rest come and go.

BW!!! Oh my goodness - that is such an awesome photo! BUWAHAHA!!! They're all in their "If I crouch down, they can't see me" poses. LMAO!! Fantastic! I've got to get to work on my guys . I still have to wait a few more weeks to get the 100% healthy okay vet report for Sunday, and even then I still have to introduce her to the other 4. Hey, maybe that will be my photo! (Yeah, good luck, right? ) ETA : I can't take my eyes off this photo! Wow, I wish we had that kind of backyard. That must be so fun for them!

That IS a wonderful photo, BW. Their body language says so much. I can just imagine the thoughts going through their little minds.
Do they use their Catit? Our cats are too busy to fit our Catit into their daytime schedule so they have to play with it at night. Usually between 12.30 and 1 am when the house is very quiet and any small noise wakes us. I think they do it on purpose.

LOL MarkT, your description reminds me of a "Cat Haiku" I read years ago (don't know original author; my thanks to them, whoever they are.) It went something like this:
Now it's 3 a.m. The Big Ones slumber deeply. Time to play hockey.

He he, what a great photo BW! I can easily get two in one photo: I don't think more than two can fit on that cushion, or just one in Sophie's case, lol, she has grown up into a big girl:
