One year ago today my daughter found a very scared, skinny stray cat, crying for help, when she was walking to the bus stop.  Members of this forum were very helpful in giving suggestions on how to find a safe place for this stray cat, whom I did not really intend to have move in with me...

The rest has, as they say, been history! Grin

Since we have no idea when he was born, we are celebrating today, the day Linley came to us.

For those who may be newer to the forum, here is what he looked like when we first got him:

And here are some more recent shots, to show you what he looks like today:

Spring of this year:

These two are from this week:

And yes, that is an aquarium he is sitting on.  He gets so excited trying to catch the fish that he regularly falls off of it!

So to the catboy who plays in his water dish, who can open locked doors, who tries to help with the dishes, locks himself in the bathroom, yet can't find a toy mouse inside an open box--happy anniversary, Linley!  You've made life here very interesting!

Happy Anniversary Linley!  You are such a handsome boy, I can see why your meowmie found you sooooooo irresistable that you became a permanent member of their household Cheesy

I just love the pic of him on the aquarium, but I bet the fish aren't so amused!

Happy  "Gotcha Day" to Linley and his wonderful mom. We sorta knew that he was a keeper ~ just needed time to convince mom, too.  Wink

What a handsome, amazing catboy you have turned out to be.

Happy Gotcha Day Linley.   Your plan worked!  Find a kind-hearted person who would take you home.  Then work all your feline charm on the family and Viola!  You have a forever home!  Good job!

Happy Anniversary, Linley!

Catbird - I well remember our discussion on this forum about the "stray" you found... what to do, what to name him, etc...  Wow - can it be a year ago already?

BTW, Linley can easily be mistaken for Cato's brother!  Cheesy
