She was so beautiful - I'm so sorry you lost her to poison food, Trudy.

Trudy -
     NutMeg is beautiful!  All the pictures of your cats are so wonderful!  Do you do photography professionally?  If not, you should!   Smiley

I look at NutMeg every other day, showing my family and freinds this kitty's most unusual color and radiant charm.   And then I tell them that this beautiful cat was a victim of poisoned petfood.  At which point, their eyes take on a look of "infinite sadness."  That's how I feel when I look at beautiful Nutmeg and all the furbabies the petfood companies have taken from us. Let us never ever forget!

This has been a strange and sad day for Me. Sometimes one little thing can bring back all the memories. I loved showing NutMeg and all the other bengals, and house hold pets. So much fun taking them places and staying overnight with them. I had 2 whole walls with their ribbons hung up on them, from one corner to the next. I've always had them there. Even though they were getting dusty. and most were NutMegs. And She also got some huge ones for being the best of the year. I took them all down today. and now i'm just so sad I can't believe the feelings that are coming up. I feel very strange and just so sad.
This is just one show when She was a kitten. She is in there, peeking out.

What a stunning cat!!!!!!!  NutMeg is one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen.  How heartbreaking that you lost her in such a tragic way.  I am so sorry.

 Cry  Oh Trudy.  {{{hugs}}}

It seems to me that the "little" things are always the reminders of our departed loved ones that hit us the hardest.  She was so special.  Taking down her ribbons might have made it seem so final.  You have a right to be sad.

I'm so sorry you're sad, Trudy, those little details do bring things back. I hope that through the sadness can hold on to the good memories of Nutmeg and find some peace and comfort. (I'm missing my own past furry ones, too.)
