Hi all!

Sorry I've been awol here for so long but I found myself spread too thin there for awhile and needed to find some balance. The kitties are all doing fine - so far so good. One thing that's been helping me find my centre better is digital art. I've been having a lot of fun lately experimenting with an iOS app called iColorama. Thought you might enjoy a look at a couple of recent images I made with Trevor and Kermit's photos. Have to make one for Bear next lol.

Will try to catch up and keep in touch more.

(Wasn't sure how to link to the images directly so here are links to my Facebook page. I'm on Flickr too but currently using mobile and didn't see how to connect directly to the images. Time for bed!)

Thanks everyone. The doodling with the art really is a stress reliever for me. I've found the adult colouring works well too. So here the latest one I did for Bear. I'm going to try to use Flickr this time so you don't have to jump over to Facebook.

Looked okay when I tested it, so here goes. I may update my previous post to add the Flickr images too.

I think it's mine too. I did one more step that added the extra texture to the background which I think gives it a little more dimension. I liked my first attempt with Trevor's image but wasn't quite satisfied with Kermit's.

Sleepy Saturday  (Kermit)

Took Kermit & Bear in for their wellness check-ups and rabies vaccinations last Monday. Kermit was found to have a heart murmur. Sad Bloodwork found no kidney issues but indications of liver inflammation so she had X-rays to rule out tumours and check her heart. No tumours (phew) and her heart is not enlarged at this point so for now she's on a liver supplement and then back in a month to check up on things. Poor Kermit. Didn't put a damper on her vocalization of her displeasure though, my little Miss Catitude.
