Hi everyone-- this is Lucy. ..I am pleased (not really yet) to announce the adoption of LumberJack, aka Jack, into my family. Jack's "blood brother" Murphy was adopted today by mommy and daddy's good friends and they seemed to love him (alot more than I did ) so mommy tells me everything is for a reason....She said she has some pictures of Jack and me together this morning in the bed touching (really scary but have to do it sometime) but maybe I can get used to this little guy--although I do act like he is a giant!! I am sure mommy will post more soon... Lucy the lovely (and hopefully not the lonely anymore) x0x0x0

Hey, Lucy, I hope Jack will follow your lead and grow up to be a great dog and a great friend to you! Don't worry too much. You are, after all, the leader of your pack.

Welcome LumberJack! You'd fit right in here in the Pacific NW. Is mother going to get you a plaid flannel jacket?

Welcome, Jack! You have no idea how lucky you are - you got yourself some great humans there. They'll take good care of you. Word of advice ... listen to Lucy. She's the boss of you, so behave. Oh, and you know that little thing with the sharp claws? That's a cat. Her name is Smudge and she's the boss of everybody. Be nice to her too. Lucy, I know it seems like a pain in the ass right now, having to break in a new little brat. But go easy on him, he's just a kid. Remember how much you used to love to play when you were his age? I'm sure this little guy can remind you. It beats being all by yourself, that's for sure. Harry would hate for you to be lonely, now wouldn't he? Can't wait to see some pics of the two of them together, once they've decided to be one big happy family!

Awww Carol, what a darling name! Is LumberJack any relation to Paul Bunyon? Keep us posted on all the updates in between your nap breaks. Afterall you are a new mommy now, it can be tiring!

Welcome Jack! I know you are new to this world but Lucy will show you the way; she's your big sister now. She will be fun to play with and someone you can get into trouble with. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of you and Lucy.

And Jack, while you're at it, please live at least 18 years or more. Your human parents & big step sister (no, that isn't your mom) really need to have years & years with you!
