I am sorry nothing is helping his results . Very glad he will get to come home though. At least you will have some time with him and he will be happy to be home with all of you .

I am so sorry. I know it comes to a point where you just have to keep them comfortable and love them with all your heart. Hopefully, he will have some really special bonus time with you.

Mitzie:

You can see that she still looks sad, and she needs more attention than before. She eats well when she gets breakfast in bed, has become more picky with food. Creatinine is stable and right at slightly above the upper limit of normal, everything else is OK except that she was slightly anaemic but she got vit B complex shot and hopefully that should improve. The next check up is in three months.

Sophie:

This photo was taken 5 mins after the vet left. You can see how stressed out the poor girl is with the blood test and check up  Cheesy We have been really lucky with home visits, it is so much easier for the cats, and also taking blood from the paw seems less stressful. All good, blood tests will be done née a year since she is now ten. Can't believe she is ten already.

Max:

He is doing great, everything normal for the liver with getting some kidney food in addition to normal diet and he is still on SAMe and ursodeoxycholic acid. And amlodipine for unexplained high blood pressure. Now we only need to do check up every 6 months. Fingers crossed for his echocardiogram in May, one everything was OK on the last one, so hopefully no unpleasant surprises.

Household dynamics has inevitably changed, no fighting but the girls are sometimes frustrated by Max being a big pest since he wants to play 24/7.

I can finally see your pictures!  Cheesy

Mitzie is looking lovely, but yes, you can tell she misses Stephie.

I'm so glad to hear Max is doing well.

Kisses to Mitzie, Sophie and Max!

So envious about your doctor house visits.  How great that is (I've asked, mine doesn't).

Continue to send lots of warmth to your home and hope the dynamic settles into something good.

Everyone looks good! Although, yes, Mitzie does look a little down. Happy to hear Max is doing really well. He's obviously enjoying his snooze!  Cheesy

Max:

I got this two tier wicker bed from etsy, it is really good quality, Max loves the bottom, both girls like the top part except for Sophie I have to take the cushion out (not sure how can that be comfortable, but...)
