I agree - gorgeous kitties! OT is that gray tiger striped one still a baby or is it the one in the other pic? What a striking lil one! Thanks for everyone's replies and compliments on our kitties. I let them know but there was little response except from our gray kitten who purred loudly, but then again he was probably just hungry.
JJ, all the photos were taken in the past week, the gray kitten is 10 weeks old. There is just one photo of him.

OMG what beautiful kitties!
I've seen that in some of my NV cans, but never that much. A few specs here and there.

Mark,
I promise not to tell my husband about your wildlife. He'd be on a plane tomorrow. At least you didn't say wild boar.

Mark yes the cheapest source is soy which is 89% genetically modified with Round-UP Ready weed killer and insecticide.
The gray kitten is so precious and the color - I'm in love. Wish I wasn't allergic to cats. I'd love to have one exactly like the gray kitty! More pics when you have the time.

Yes, very easy to worry. And after all that, I think everyone prefers the Ziwipeak venison better and it looks nicer, if that counts for anything. And it works out cheaper per ounce for us.
(And I know I should never start a sentence with "And", it is just bad grammar)

I Googled "starting sentences with conjunctions" a few months ago and came up with similar results. Writers have done it for decades for effect. I had not aimed for impact, rather it just came out that way and I did not have the energy to change it. Besides, I get a perverse kind of pleasure doing something that would have earned me a detention or worse at school in England in the 60's. I should really move this to The Den, but I have added a few more pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43278019@N04/

Oh my gosh! You couldn't get more beautiful and sleek-looking cats. I absolutely adore black cats and Smokie is so handsome. Casey looks like a pretty big boy as well. Love the picture of him in the grass with the "deer in the headlights" look. Kitten looks right out of Sigfried and Roy's clan -- how gorgeous. Does he still not have a name? Is Muskie the boss of all of them? I guess raw plus Ziwipeak is responsible for their shine? Wow!

Love the pics of your family. The kitten is sure a head turner - just love the coloring.

Mark T - on the grammar, have you seen this one? I think it's brilliant - he debunks all the 'correct' grammar crowd... http://www.meettheauthor.co.uk/bookbites/1649.html

All your cats are beautiful and very well photographed. I was especially taken with "Smokie in 2008", the one on the couch. That composition looked especially elegant to me.

Nothing to add about the white flecks, but I am wondering what breeds all your amazingly beautiful cats are?

Just got back from a short trip to find these kind comments.
I'll open a thread in the Den and reply to some of the comments there.
catwoods, as far as composition goes it is mainly luck. I am not that good with a camera, but I make up for it by taking a lot of shots. I figure if I take enough shots then statistically one will turn out OK. Even then I have to crop it to balance the photo.
JoMax, yes, he has it right. Language has always been evolving with the need to communicate in new ways, so to think it can be frozen by a set of rules misses the whole point.
bug, since feeding about 50% home made there has been a noticeable improvement in their appearance and energy level. They seem more alert and happier too. I was surprised because they were getting good quality commercial food before.(Or was it?) But I have backed off raw for the time being and now cook sufficiently to kill any bacteria. I need to get a better understanding of the risks involved for our cats and my family before I go back to raw feeding.

MarkT, here is your "Den" thread--ready and waiting for you. I split things up into separate topics. Allow me to extend my compliments to your astonishingly beautiful cats! I take it that Casey is a Bengal?
