It's been a while since I posted some pics. I hurt my back pretty bad so I haven't been too active. It's slowly getting better so here's a couple photos!

I put a new cover on my couch to protect from cat hair

It didn't work. Thanks Smoggy.

Stormy likes my lap more than the couch

OMG that first photo and caption TOTALLY FUNNY!!   Cheesy

ETA:  I got so caught up in the funniness of that photo that I totally zoned out to comment about your back!  Argh, back issues are the worst!  I hope you're able to continue walking and moving, and that you find some good, easy stretch routines to help you heal.

Haha that is funny about Smoggy finding going right under the couch cover and delivering the cat hair. And what a lovely picture of Stormy with those big eyes!

But I'm so sorry to hear about your back! Take care of yourself, I hope you continue to improve!

Hope your back is better. And no, there is no way of getting rid of cat hair. I gave up long time ago  Grin

Smoggy loves to throw a wrench in my plans.  Cheesy My back is still hurting a lot but today some of the feeling in my toes has returned! I think that's a good sign! Now I'm looking for a back support chair for my desk and maybe getting a standing desk. Apparently my problem is caused by bad posture and too many hours sitting in front of the computer.

My friend (a writer) uses a standing desk and he says it's fantastic!  I hope you'll be able to get more and more comfort quickly.  Good grief, feeling in your toes!  That sounds pretty awful!  Definitely look into that standing desk!

So sorry about your back - I know how awfully painful it can be. I hope you find the perfect chair / desk for your back very soon - it will definitely help!

I bought a standing desk and two new chairs and now the cats are unhappy since there's no lap to sit on.  Roll Eyes Smoggy got his revenge tonight though when he tripped me up and I fell hard. This after my back finally started feeling better. I thought I broke my foot but I can move my toes. It's just one adventure after another at my house!

Don't ignore your foot Ned ! I broke mine in January & did not go see a Dr right away . The result was it did not heal well & I had to have surgery in June . Then 6 weeks of keeping it elevated above my heart  Sad Much better to go now !!

Oh yeahhhh, no lap.  How did none of us realize that.  Now with that standing desk you're in danger!   Cheesy

Glad to hear your back is continuing to get better... I hope your foot is all right.   Tongue

Ouch leslie! That sounds like a nasty ordeal you went through! I hope you're ok now! My foot feels better this morning so I think I'm in the clear but I was almost in tears last night. I thought for sure I'd have to go to urgent care. I must have jammed it pretty hard.

Here's Smoggy showing his disappointment in the lack of lap by stealing my cherries!

Hope you feel better! Leo is constantly trying to trip me up, which scares me more from fear I'd injure him she I fall than from fear of my own injury (doing quite well on that front even without his help, currently dealing with wrist injury from aerial silks, switched to hoop since I can do that without rotating my hand, and now have bruises behind the knees from hanging on the hoop).

Wow Alek it sounds like you are quite the gymnast! Except when Leo is in the way.  Cheesy

My foot and back are much better now thank goodness. The cats are still cranky about the lack of lap which is really funny considering lap sitting used to be pretty rare before they learned from Cosmo.

One weird thing that happened recently is when August suggested using a rug when grooming them with the gloves. Well now they line up at the same time every evening to get their nightly brushing! They really love the rug. Smoggy especially was really hard to brush - he hated it no matter what I did. But now when I put the rug down he wants brushing NOW. He will sit there and wait until I'm done with Stormy. He doesn't want to miss his turn! He really seems to enjoy it now which makes me happy! The rug I use is a soft memory foam bath mat.
