Hi, my name is Cassiopeia, but everybody calls me Cassi (that is when they can remember my name). Sometimes they call me by other cat names or even forget and call me by one of the dogs' names. I'm a calico-torti (or something like that). I think I'm supposed to talk about what I eat, pee, and poop, how I play with the other cats and dogs. Don't know why anybody would be interested in that.  Sorry I have to use these faces. There aren't any kitty faces here.  |

Hi Cassiopeia, You are a beauty! Welcome to the Forums! You don't have to tell what you eat and what you eliminate -- only if you want to.  That's not all we talk about here, by far, but since so many of our pets were poisoned or killed by the pet food, the topics do come up. People here do excellent research and share their experiences. And, we're here to share information and to help one another. Visit the "Home" page of the Forums section to see the various topic headings. Feel free to post your comments and start your own topic threads. I guess I need some edification here... Should I ask to what PPFRK refers? Welcome to one of the top sites covering a variety of topics about pets and other "stuff" as well! Welcome. Beautiful kitty -- love the fur pattern and the alternative spelling of the name -- more intuitive. |

Hi Purringfur. I like your name. Purring and fur, 2 of my favorite things. We have a lot of both in my new home. My new mom has already talked about me a lot here. Shhhhhhh. She doesn't know I'm playing with her computer. She finally walked away from her keyboard. She always has such a serious look on her face. She forgot how to have fun. It took me awhile to get used to my new name. I won't tell my mom my old name. I do answer to "gypsy" or "patches" sometimes, just to confuse them. My name has something to do with stars in the sky and a tortoise. (I would have answered to Gypsy or anything as long as somebody wanted me.) PPFRK: That's what mom calls me. A Post Pet Food Recall Kitty. I'm not sure what that means. My mom has no idea where I came from or what I was eating, just that I had a lot of fleas and worms and I was crying in a pet food store because nobody wanted me. The first day she brought me home I had NV Instinct canned and roasted natural chicken. It was good. The vet lady she took me to thought I was a little undernourished. I've made up for that now. This is one of my new best friends. Her nose is really out of joint since I arrived. She's the Boss, if you know what I mean, even though she is tiny. She is very vocal. She likes to play "bat around the folded up tea bag wrappers" with me, but she gets mad if she doesn't win. So, I usually let her win. She can only see on her right side, so she uses her left front paw and left ear to "see" with.  |

Your bestfreind looks like she can get a part in any cat movie she likes... maybe she can throw you in as an "extra."

Shhhh. I'm back. She's busy digging in our litter boxes. Silly mom. I work so hard to cover my poopies, and she scoops them up. I told you she doesn't know how to play anymore. Thank you for saying nice things about me. We didn't get into much trouble today. Lots of snoozing and playing. We had W chicken and turkey, NV chicken, and roasted chicken. That was good. Oh wow! New cat buddies. Hi TeenyCat, Linley, and Rikers. TeenyCat: I do have my own email address: cassikitty@catnip.org(anic). I'm not very good at typing, so I use voice recognition software. Yeah. I'm still training it. It does not know what pffsstttttt! means yet or "hisssssssss", but it does pretty well with purrrrrrrr and meow. Maybe you're mom will get some for her computer. It's cool. Linley: I've heard all about you and how handsome you are. We have a cat here they call Monster Cat. That's not a good cat name. He likes to attack the other cats, doesn't make any difference if they are girls or boys. Monster Cat. You better watch out or your mom will start calling you Monster Cat, too. Both of us are very lucky kitties to have found homes. Rikers: Are you on the lam? I don't mean to get personal, but your name is Rikers...... I want to try some Raw as long as you're buying, and maybe some new toys (but they have to be Made in USA) or mommy won't let them in the house. I thought you were a boy kitty. Uh oh, she's back.
