Since she's not a kitten any more, I thought I'd start a new thread for Cara. She is a year old somewhere around now. I think I'll celebrate today as her birthday, since a lot of people here are celebrating anyway.

Cara is very fond of high places!

I don't know, I sure don't see a kitten there!  Where's Cara, what have you done with her?  Lol!   Oh, she's huge!  Poor Kalahari, give her a scritch for me.  Kiss

Oh my, how time flies - it seems like just last month that you posted about wanting a new kitten in you home! Smiley

Well Happy Birthday, little Cara Manxie girl!!  She sure is gorgeous.  I must have seen that white spot on her chest before but never noticed it was so big.  Guess I was paying too much attention to that cute stub tail.

Several people have noted Cara's white chest star. When she was small, it was pretty tiny, plus was hidden much of the time because, like human babies, kittens have short necks in proportion to the size of the rest of them. So you may well not have seen it when she was little.

Cara says thanks for all the compliments and good wishes! And to let you know that she still tries to run outside, and is the only one of my cats that can climb the cat tree vertically up the posts, like a spider! Despite being a very solid, fairly large girl cat.

We have taken to calling her and Linley Bonnie and Clyde at times , for the racing around the house together spreading havoc and destruction. Grin

Happy Birthday, Cara Manx! What a beautiful girl you have grown to be. It just doesn't seem possible that she's a year old already - it does seem as if you just brought her home. Thanks for sharing her, catbird, as she has grown up. She is so photogenic, too.

Happy Birthday, Cara!

That's funny about her and Linley.  It's so cool they are buddies. Is she still growing, catbird?

I hope not, or I am going to have to get a license from the Department of Natural Resources for keeping a bobcat!
