Oh my goodness! Are you up to like six cats now merrihart?  Cheesy So glad you took in the little guy with a spine injury and very happy to hear he is improving. I hope he makes a full recovery. I wish I could see his picture but it's not showing for me.

Blackfoot is gorgeous. He looks like a tiny, miniature, gorgeous snow leopard. (There was a picture, yes? Did the picture disappear?)

What?!  I didn't realize you're up to 6 cats!  Jeesh!  You'll need to update your thread title!   Cheesy

That's so good of you to take in Blackfoot and help him out after such a horrible ordeal he went through.  Poor baby.   Cry   He's lucky to have a caring meommy.

Picture is back!   Shocked

Blackfoot had his final follow-up with his Neurologist on Tuesday.  She is pleased with his progress, and feels she doesn't need to see him again unless something happens.  She got to see him put all his weight on his hind end when he put his front paws on the chair I was sitting on, and I'm pretty sure he wanted to jump up on me, but didn't want to look silly in front of his doctor.   Cheesy

So, we don't have to do that day long journey again.  yay!  And he is happy with that.

He must have over used his back legs this week, because he's having issues with pooping again.  Mainly, he can't keep himself from falling over when getting into the correct posture.  Sad  he had to have a bath this morning, which he hates.  This time, I held him on my lap, with his back against my chest and bathed him on a towel, first soapy water, and then rinse water.  He complained the whole time and wanted down, but I got the job done so he is at least mostly clean.  I have him penned on the top floor today, trying to force him to rest his legs and back.  I"m sure he'll get into mischief, but hopefully he doesn't feel like climbing higher than my bed.
