I've been getting script errors on the emails that we've been exchanging since Itchmo went down. They started about a week ago and occurred sporadically, but now they are occurring more frequently.

What's a scripting error?  Are there any attachments on the emails?  I'm not getting any but maybe my ISP strips them out.  I think AVG scans my mail, too.  I guess everyone knows not to open attachments.

Don't read the following, Shibadiva -

Don't worry about the liver, nobody here eats it raw!  Cheesy  They were coated with gluten-free flour, fried and smothered with onions.  (Still sounds gross.)

Klondike An email comes into Outlook and a message pops up when you are reading it, saying that the email is trying to read a script but is unable to - continue without reading it?

I'm using Outlook but haven't gotten that one.  I don't like the sound of it.

Looking at that maybe there is no security issue with that message, just an incompatibility thing.

Just realized my post re no "forums" on home page landed in the wrong place.  What happened to the home page?  When I quick keyed into it, forums was missing.  Had to manually enter "itchmo.com/forums" to get here.

The home page has been moved to another (free) server, and has changed in appearance.  We were talking about it earlier this AM.

There were also updates to the domain registry information on the 23rd and the 28th for the two sites.

I saw that starting last night too, Carol.  I've seen it happen before with other threads, and wondered about some type of bot activity.

I'm not aware of any way to stop them other than deleting the thread.

I wonder if the activity last night and this morning on this particular thread has anything to do with the fact that CNN has a front-page story up about the place being ordered to cover up or close down?

And it looks like Espresso is still goin' wild on our forum stats!

Yup, just did a Google search for espresso gone wild.  Our forum thread on the topic is the first thing that comes up on a Google search!

Hope some of these folks are pet lovers...

I could put an invite in the thread, but I think I won't.

I just put a public service announcement in the first post of that thread.  Just had to make some use of the traffic increase.
