Filbert,

This is what it says in my email and notifications under the list of the forums I'm subscribed to:

Ok, so it's more of a settings issue.  I thought it might be an e-mail issue, but apparently not.  Maybe something got messed up in the database.

And what happens when you attempt to subscribe to a new one?

So you're trying to subscribe to a whole board... not just a single thread?

I've subscribed to this thread in the last few days and have never gotten a notification.  If I click "notify" again it says "do you want to DISABLE notification". Huh

I still can't get any notifications on any of the threads I've subscribed to.  I used to, but not now.  Can anyone help?  The boards have been active and I'm afraid I'm missing important information.

Should I PM Filbert too?

I've done the same thing and nothing works.

I was getting notifications before the change too, but not now  Cry

I logged in yesterday with IE 6 and got the boxes with the red x in them for new posts. Then logged out and then back in with Firefox 2.0 and didn't get them.

So apparently it depends on which browser you use for that to occur.

I don't use notifications so I don't think that the browser makes a difference for that one. I know some here use both browsers and no one appears to be getting notifies.

Does anyone use Opera, and what is that experience??

I'm on IE6, so maybe that is the problem.  Thanks db.

Sorry, but I'm still having to go through 3 steps to even log in (if my name doesn't come up immediately). I have to sign in as guest, then deal with incorrect password, then sign in as guest yet again before I'm on. Also getting the no new posts almost all the time when there are new posts on the index. Any ideas?

I get "incorrect password" if I sign in at the top, but no problem when I sign in at the bottom.

Using Firefox.
