We are conducting some server maintenance on the main Itchmo site so some things may not work properly through the day (6/23).  Please ignore these throughout the day.

However, if you find any problems that haven't been resolved by 6/24, please post them here and provide as much information as possible.  If you have a problem to report, please provide the following:
- Copy and paste the URL that is displayed in your browser address bar
- Describe how you got there (e.g. search, clicked a permalink, clicked a category, etc.)
- If the page you wanted is not displayed, let us know what page or post you were attempting to view.
- If there is an error message displayed, copy and paste the error message.
- If you can't describe what's wrong in words, take a screen shot (ctrl-printscreen) and attach it.

Every time I try to go to the Ithmo page I get this message in a popup screen that doesn't have a "cancel" option and won't go away unless I force quit my browswer (I don't click on popup screens that won't let me exit, by the way):

"The Google Maps API key used on this web site was registered for a different web site. You can generate a new key for this web site at http://www.google.com/apis/maps/."

The only option I have at that point is to click on "OK" for the popup (which I will not do) or to force quit my browser.  So - for all practical intents and purposes - I can't get onto Itchmo right now.

I'm not sure why it's giving that error, i'm looking at it right now...

But it's just an alert, which is why there's no cancel.  Nothing is happening so there's nothing to cancel.  Just hit OK.

Ok, should be fixed.

One note, there was a DNS change... I won't get all technical on you, but basically, some of you still won't be able to post comments for up to 48 hours.

Filbert, Since your DNS change, the site is running extremely slow for me. Half the time I get the "this page cannot be displayed" message. Sometimes if I refresh, the page will then appear. Takes me forever to get from one page to the next. I am not having this problem any where else online. Huh

Thanks, we're monitoring this problem right now.

Update:  I think it is fixed.  Let us know if it is better now.

Filbert

As of 7pm MT, it appears to be working much faster, during the day it was running really slowly.

thanks

Filbert,
I noticed that the "bold" button isn't working right. Everything comes out bold. Can this be fixed?

I've noticed the following glitch on Itchmo.com (not ItchmoForums.com):

The past couple of days, I've encountered a few instances of someone else's nickname magically showing up in the "Name" field of the "Leave a Reply" section when I'm reading comments.

I think this is happening after someone enters a comment--then their name occurs on everyone's comment entry box.  No email address that I have seen, but as long as their 5 minute comment change time is going, their name is showing.  I can also see their black comment change opportunity box sometimes (if that makes sense.)

Rather disconcerting--does that mean I can change their comment?

I've been seeing the forums in 'bold' for days now.

It really makes it difficult to read posts, especially long posts, when everything is in bold. It's like the text is screaming at you! Tongue I noticed that all my old posts are now in bold also.

Where is filbert? Huh I wish he'd get back to us about this.

Sorry, I've had a lot of issues at work.

I'm not sure why the forums have been changed to all bold... we didn't make any changes to the forum server...

I'll need to look into that commenting name issue too... hopefully I'll have time tonight???
