Have been trying to contact a new member by PM.  It appears that I can get one PM to get into the member's mailbox, but trying to send a second causes an error message that the person's mailbox is full.

Any information about this "mailbox full" message would be appreciated.

Tried to PM a new poster called RosieGirl with 1 post. Got the same mailbox full error. Apparently,
if new posters have only few posts, you can't PM them.

I've posted to the thread RoseyGirl started, trying to explain what happened because of the spammers.  I hope that if she can't send any PMs, she will see the replies to her thread and post there.

Maybe Itchmo could change the system to allow 'newbies' to RECEIVE as many pm's as they want but just limit the pm's SENT by the 'newbies' which was the problem that started it all.

I just hate to see legit newbies punished for what the spammers did.
