It was 25 to move out of newbie status back in July when I joined, was 100 for full member. See I knew it was more than 5 and 100 for full member, thought I was losing it there for a moment, well probably lost it some time ago, but sort of do remember some things, but then sometimes I do forget something or other, then sometimes I ramble on senselessly on and on about nothing, but then I forget what I was doing, oh well db Not trying to be picky here but it is 5 to become a jr member and about 60 to become a full member. All you have to do is go thru a few of the "search for members" pages and you can pretty much tell when your status will change.

I used to think that anyone doing anything weird was weird. I suddenly realized that anyone doing anything weird wasn't weird at all and it was the people saying they were weird that were weird.

Newspapers generally only keep an article at the site you may have originally seen it on the day it was first published for a few days. But, if you want to find it, you can usually go to the home page of the newspaper and search for it in their archives.
Yes, that is true. But what may also be true is that to obtain an article from the archives more than a week old, will cost you $$$.

OK, Got it. IMO they need to change it back. If Filbert has changed it so that as a precautionary measure that Newbies cannot PM members, 5 posts is too small a number of posts to become a Jr member.

Yes, the rumor is true... a cat does grow out of your left armpit once you reach 1,000 posts.

From some things JustMe has said, I think she has plenty of cats everywhere without needing to be awarded any by Itchmo!

So what happens to JustMe when she reaches 2000? Cat grows out of right armpit too? See this is one of the reasons I stopped posting, didn't want to get to 2000 posts, now that I am well behind some others I can sit back and observe what happens. Hell with my luck another dog would appear, of course they appear when they want anyway, but after trying to get the cat out of the left armpit for months, I didn't want to chance having another pop out of the right db

At least it is a calico! I don't plan on getting to 2,000. They just put you in the Betty Ford Center when that happens.

OMG Laurie was right! See, when I got to 500, I got one too. So they have changed the rules! It's only 500 now for the cat! We are all doomed.

OK, where is Trudy at in her numbers - she just ended up with a new cat too, didn't she?
See you all just thought you picked up these cats from bad circumstances, when actually you just dreamed that & when you woke up in the morning, there as a new cat in the house.

Now wife won't let me dream anymore, I am also not allowed to look at dog pics on the internet, not allowed to contact or have rescue contact us. Just saw another one recently though, the same weird feeling, like the dog is calling me?? db

Hi Dingbat - I've been pulling up Itchmo at least once a day since 3/07 to check what's happening and read the day's news. Most of the time I don't leave a post or comment. Maybe the lenght of time someone has been a member could be factored into the specs to sort out spammers?
