I just tried to send a PM to several people at the same time and got reported to admin!  Apparently if you have more than 5 friends that you want to say the same thing to, you are a spammer.  I remember reading that newbies were only being allowed limited PMs, but I do not remember hearing about this.  I have no idea if anyone got my messages or not.

spammer,

That must be new.  In the past, I've received messages sent to 6 people at once plus myself.  Maybe because of the spam mail people here were receiving.

spammer

I am sure it is something that the admin configures. Makes sense though, what if you were allowed to send like 1000 PM's at once??

probably because of the recent spam problem

I used to think that anyone doing anything weird was weird. I suddenly realized that anyone doing anything weird wasn't weird at all and it was the people saying they were weird that were weird.

I have been on some other forums that had PM limits.  But it was usually something like 10 or 25 recipients, and they announced it up front.  Did not leave you to find out the hard way.

Your lucky you only have 5 friends instead of 10, catbird.  This is so humiliating.  I better go out for a walk now and try to forget the shame.

Actually I tried to PM seven people, one of whom was myself.  I got back a message that said the limit was five.

I feel honored to be in your company, Klondike.

Trudy, (this is Klondike), can you not read some of our posts?  All we did was change our account names.  (Hope we can change them back!)

catbirdakaspammer,  Grin, I was just kidding about the 10 friends.  You have me beat.  I was jealous, so I made them up.  Embarrassed

 Huh Huh
Gee, I didn't have any idea.
I was going to write more, but the computer is acting crazy. We are now under a tornado watch, not just a warning. So, i need to get all "kids" together, and hopefully talk to you all tomorrow.
