Yesterday I e-mailed the Itchmo folks through their icanhascheeseburgers site re the forums being down.  Emily replied they were trying to fix the problem - and they have.  This is my "one stop" on the net every day no matter how busy I am!  This is truly the best (and maybe the only) site for sharing current info.  Many thanks to the good folks for keeping it alive and well!

Thanks MaineMom for emailing them. And thanks to all the Itchmo techies who fixed the  problem for us! I don't what I'd do if this site was not here anymore!

Monday, August 18, 2008, at about 5:00 pm Pacific Time, trying to post a reply and
when I hit save, Itchmo disappeared. Hope it's just me. When I reopened IE, and hit
link, it came back up.

I've been having lots of episodes of loss of connectivity all day today, not with the forum though.   Huh

Lately we've had alot of trouble connecting, especially at night; and when we do connect, it's at a slower than usual speed. Thought it was just our dial-up?Huh

I'm on dialup, too. Maybe that's a problem?

Out here in the country everyone on dial-up has SOME trouble connecting; DH says that due to phone lines with more "noise" on them, which adds enough confusion to make the password unrecognizable at times. It's just that it's been worse the last few days. With others reporting problems over the last few days, though, I also wonder about more widespread issues.  My mouse is jumpy today, cursor won't stay where I put it, (groan).

The forum is running slower than rocks for me right now. A post took a full minute to load and go on to the next screen.  2:43pm CDT on 8/20.
