Author Topic: A category where people can post SAFE home remedies that work?  (Read 653 times)

It would be nice and very helpful if we could start a topic on safe and/or natural home remedies for various common pet ailments and issues.  Over the past few years, I have noticed that commercial products advertised to address certain pet conditions many times contain ingredients that are actually harmful to cats and dogs.  An example is pet toothpaste!  I for one will be very very interested to find out info and tips from people who have safe home remedies for common pet ailments like flea infestation; plaque build-up on teeth; pet halitosis; tendencies to UTI or FUS and such things.  What do you think?

The problem is that no matter what you post... SOMEONE will disagree.  There's no way we can judge or enforce what is "safe" and we don't want to inadvertantly allow something that people think is safe and then have someone discover a problem.

I would think people can post their experiences with home remedies in the product reviews sections. Of course, "safe" is always a matter of opinion and degree.
