I just rescued 2 bengals, papers and all from the shelter. they are black bengal kittens. We never get kittens in rescue so this is something very different.
If anyone is interested please let Me know. I have a brother and sister.

I hope these babies get a good home! I can't take on any more right now although I would really like to have a black kitty again!

When I was looking around at cat stuff one day I found a number of websites that say, these black Bengals have faint spots or marbled patterns visible in bright light. Sort of like the black leopards that you would see in a zoo, the ones usually called "panthers". Panthers are actually black leopards, so they have spots.

Speaking of gorgeous black cats I love that photo of JustMe's Pirate Kitty.

Gee, at your link Catwoods, the black cats look like my Spooky.  I haven't posted photos of him and his brother. Also reminds me of Klondike's Detente.

I've gotta get some better pictures of "Pirate Kitty" to post so you can get a good look at her.

Trudy, do not tempt me.   Wink

Yes, all black bengals have a pattern, either marble or spotted. you just have to look real good to see it. It's amazing.

That's interesting, Trudy, I've never actually seen a Bengal, but I figured you would have seen the patterns on the black ones since you have so much bengal experience. I used to go to cat shows just to look, but they were CFA and didn't include Bengals; but I became unable to go on such big excursions long ago. Now there are TICA cat shows not too far from me, too. I don't feel too bad about it since there's a daily cat show here in the house.

JustMe will look forward to photos of Spooky and his brother!

If We do get a chance to make it to Maine and see My Dad, i will probably be coming up 95. If anyone of you wants one of these kittens, please let Me know.
Bengals sell for between 600 and 900 for pets. And this is a rescue so I should be charging about 200 for kittens. I wouldn't charge You anything if You are one of the regulars. I know how well you take care of your cats. I have the reg. papers with Me. Just let Me know.
