We miss you KD

If you're following catmom's Sassy stories, I ran across a similar one the other day.

I was at the vet's office picking up supplies for KD, and was surprised by a tiny little meow and a very curious kitty jumping up from the desk to the counter to get some attention from this new person. I asked about her, and they said they found her in a shed outside the building with a litter of kittens and took them all in. She is staying there until the kittens are weaned and she puts on some weight, then they are finding her a home.

Poor baby's just a kitten herself, probably got pregnant on her first heat. She's tiny and thin; I wouldn't guess she weighs more than six pounds. But she's bright-eyed and friendly with a gorgeous dilute calico coat, and she's healthy enough that they're giving her the run of the place.

On the off-chance that anyone in the vicinity of London, ON is looking to add to their pet-family, let me know. I don't have a lot of details right now, as the staff were pretty busy when I was there. But if anyone is possibly interested, I'll talk to them and find out more.

Bless their hearts for taking this baby and her babies in. No doubt someone will fall in love with her and the kits and they will all find wonderful forever homes . . . simply because these vets cared enough to do right by them.
