Theo and Vincent's human had to go to an assisted living facility.  The medicare one didn't allow pets.  She wants them adopted out together.  It'll take time, but can be done.

oh how sad.  Poor woman poor kitties, I always wonder what the pets think.  Do they think the person just doesn't love them anymore.  So heartbreaking.  I understand the woman wanting to keep them together I would want to keep my girls together also, but sometimes the need to adopt 2 is so much to ask of some people.  Glad to hear it can be done though.  I help my co-workers daughter find a cat on Petfinders .com she gave me her spec's and she adopted Dirk about 6 months ago.  About 3 weeks ago she decided she needed a friend for Dirk so I found her another kitty that was living in foster care,  it turns out he was a three year old declawed DLH who was going to be put down.  He was abused and had to be shaved becasue his fur was so matted, he has stitches where the fur was infected.  My friends daughter is young and feels up to the challenge of nursing him back to health and letting him become the beautiful kiiy he deserves to be.  Even though he was abused he is a very affectionate cat.  Please pray for him not sure what the final name is, but God will know who you are praying for.  My co-worker always teases me and says I am so wonderful for finding her 2 kitty grand babies.

What handsome boys they are.  Sure hope they can go together.  I try to adopt littermates together if they get along well.  It seems to ease the transition into a new home.  We have 4 sets right now.  Well, we lost one Harley a few years ago to cancer, so I guess it would be 3-1/2 pairs now.  Overall, it has worked out well.

Oh they are beautiful!  Black cats are my favorites, and I love that old style classic tabby, can't remember the name of that stripe pattern, but I don't see many cats with that coat anymore.  I hope they can stay together.  It does take longer, but when I was volunteering, we managed to adopt out quite a few sibling pairs of cats.

The story is sad, and all too common, unfortunately, but the boys are beautiful.  I love the names--Theo and Vincent, the van Gogh brothers!

I hope they will find just the right home.

Having to give up pets because of life circumstances is sad to me almost beyond endurance. I hope the kitties find good homes. Good for you for helping them, Arlo.

That's heartbreaking!  I think I would curl up and die if I had to give up my kitties becuase I've lost my home ---  but it is sooooo good that there are people out there like you Arlo who would foster the pets that have to be given up and find homes for them.... so sad for everyone... I hope the brothers are not stressed?

You are so great to take these cats and keep them together. they do need to stay together, after loosing their mother. Now they only have each other. And they are both beautiful cats. thank you.

Arlo so beautiful you took these lil babies in and will find a loving home so they can stay together. The black cat could be in movies - such great color and the eyee - too bad someone doesn't sign them a movie deal.

Thank you for looking out for these 2 beautiful cats. How sad for the owner to have to give them up. Thank goodness you are there taking care of them. Please let us know what becomes of them.
