NGAP Product Re-donation
Because we have the ability to pick up and safely store trailer-loads of donated food, pharmaceuticals, and other goods, National Greyhound Adoption Program often receives large quantities of goods from various pet food and product distributors. We regularly re-donate portions of this food and product to smaller animal welfare groups.

What we re-donate
The food and items we receive are not limited to dog products and dog food, so we also donate goods to wildlife sanctuaries and rescues, cat rescues, and other animal rescues as well as other dog rescues. We currently have long-standing relationships with over 50 different rescue groups.

Who is welcome
If you are a rescue group interested in receiving goods from our surplus inventory, feel free to contact us at 215.331.7918. Please be ready to provide us with the background and contact information for your group. You will also need to supply us with your organization’s 501(c)3 information. Once you are on file with us, you need only call our office whenever you are in need of food or supplies to check for product availability and to schedule a pick-up.

Our re-donation guidelines are simple. Donated product needs to be picked up at our facility located at the following address:

National Greyhound Adoption Program

Philadelphia, PA 19154

If your group is far away, or you are unable to pick-up product, National Greyhound Adoption Program will be more than happy to send it to you for the cost of shipping.

If you have questions or would like more information on our re-donation program, please call our office at 215.331.7918.

Please pass this information on to other rescue groups.

Rescue BankSM is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization committed to supporting the animal rescue and rehabilitation community with much-needed supplies and services.

Operating on the "food bank" model, Rescue BankSM is a collection and redistribution point for surplus pet supplies and donations. We are working to relieve area rescue groups and fosters of one of their most difficult tasks- identifying and soliciting donors for the everyday supplies needed to keep their animals healthy.

Requesting Supplies and Food
Rescue BankSM 's priorities are established by the groups we serve. We use a fairly simple registration and update process to log in your group's contact information and requirements for supplies, food or services. By listing and updating your requirements, we can focus our donation solicitation efforts where they'll do the most good.

To get started, please download our registration form and either fax it to us at 713 984 9982, or mail it to:

As we receive items that match your requirements, the listed contact person(s) will be notified by email or phone. Please keep us informed of any changes in your priorities or contact information.

The Rescue BankSM community includes more than 70 non-profit, independent animal rescue, rehabilitation, foster, and adoption groups located throughout the Gulf Coast and East Texas. These smaller groups are run by volunteers providing extensive hands-on help for abandoned, abused, or injured animals. They include

Neighborhood and community groups that rescue loose pets or pull animals from kill shelters,
Breed rescues working with owner turn-ins and puppy mill rescues, and Feral animal groups that humanely manage feral colonies and limit their growth with trap-neuter-release programs.

Rescue BankSM's mission is to help them source much-needed supplies, grants, and services so that they can improve their standard of care. Our member groups are typically below "critical mass" for self-sustained donation management and fundraising. By aggregating their needs, and creating more visibility for the whole "small rescue" community, we provide them more reliable access to donors and sources of supplies.

Your Donations are Helping to Feed Thousands of Rescued Animals
Thanks to donations from concerned contributors like you, ARF has been able to make food and supplies available to thousands of rescued animals up and down the Eastern seaboard.

The mission of ARF is to help provide needed food and/or supplies to bona fide animal rescue organizations in the effort of ensuring that no animal in an animal rescue goes hungry. As such, we take great pride in validating rescue organizations and ensuring that food and supplies are only provided to verifiable rescues.
