FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Camden, NJ -- October 4, 2007 -- Campbell Soup Company is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of 18.8 ounce cans of "Campbell's Chunky" Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits because they may contain pieces of hard plastic that present a choking hazard and may cause injury if swallowed. Three consumers have reported minor injuries in and around the mouth.
No other "Campbell's" soup products are affected by this recall.

Wonderful ! I stopped buying Campbells after they refused to answer where there ingredients come from. But my brother just had 2 surgeries & canned soup was about all he could eat. He's been living on that for about 3 mos.

I don't care for soup very much & Campbells is not very appealing.   It may be better to stick with the clear broth type if you do eat it though.    It would be easier to spot the plastic, insects, rodent heads or any other foreign matter that it might contain.
