I just got this from Wholefood market and am planning to go raw with it. Should I freeze it for a couple of hours first or can I serve at room temp?

Lucy Belle modeling a new collar for her pal. I am not a fan of collars so I never put one on her. This is just a photo op..

Oh yes, she's a very good groomer. I've read that orphans usually do a sloppy job cleaning themselves since they did not get grooming lessons from mom and their littermate. But my Lucy Belle proves them all wrong. She has a bedtime routine of grooming for at least 10 minutes before settling in and that pic was taken just before her bedtime. She sleeps with me on the bed and she wakes me up by sitting right on top of my chest! At 8lbs, you have no choice but to really wake up!  Tongue

8  Pet Food Info (Menu Foods, Iams, Purina, Hills, Ol'Roy, etc.) / Cat Food Experiences By Brand / Re: Weruva wet cat food on: September 17, 2008, 12:55:34 AM
My cat loves Weruva and this is one of the brand in her rotation. I stay away from all fish/seafood since she has a prior case of FLUTD. Her favorite are Peking Ducken, Paw Lickin' Chicken, Grandma Chicken Soup, Green Eggs and Chicken. When served Nine Liver, she will eat just the chicken and leave all the liver out. Smiley I am really happy with this brand so far.

I have been feeding Wellness 5.5oz with BB date of 25 Jan 2011. Fortunately, my cat love it and ate her servings with no problems at all. I have a few other brand in rotation and her appetite remains similar. The only thing that bugs me most is that the 5.5oz can is not full unlike other brands.

I checked the cans and they have a BB date of 25 Jan 11.

How do you find out when (which month) these batch were manufactured?

Feeding all exclusive wet with some cooked chicken breast thrown in every now and then. Mainly feeding Wellness, Natural Balance and Weruva, with a couple of other premium brand thrown into rotation. EVO gave my kitty really runny poop and the smell ... oh ..  Undecided

If that is a marketing ploy, I'd be really shocked since I have always place my faith in the company. I've read about the recent acquisition but didn't realize that the company would short charge us this way.

I didn't find any mention about this anywhere, or maybe I've missed it so if this has already been discussed, kindly let me know or merge this thread.

I've recently started to buy the 5.5oz can (Feline) instead of the smaller 3oz can. I also feed Natural Balance 5.5oz. What I notice is that the Wellness can is not filled up entirely like NB or other brands. To me, it looks more like 3/4 full. It's similar with all the flavors. Anyone else notice it? Also, the larger can seems to have more jelly/gel coating compared to the smaller can.

She sure turned into a pretty little thing, didn't she - look at that plush fur and cute white nose.  She is an interesting lighter brown than most tabbies, and those little orange spots around her nose & chin!  She does look very healthy too.  Great pics!

How observant of you! Smiley She used to have a darker coloring but as she grows, her coat seems to have diluted and under the sun, it's almost copper. Also, I love her white bib, and I always snuggle her there, much to her annoyance .. lol .. And yeah, that colored tint around her nose and chin, not many people noticed the contrast ... you really ought to be a show cat judge...  Roll Eyes
