I have a cat, Kismet. she is the one i got just before PETA picked Her up. so the name- I think it was meant to be. Ever since i've had Her she has had a sneezing problem. I have taken her to 2 different vets, and 3 vets visits. The meds. they give Her work only while She is on them. It had gotten so bad, She is sneezing on everything, and she looks miserable. One vet said She might never get over it. To try and say this nicely- she throws boggers all over the place. [couldn't find a nice way to put it.] As you know, we have a large number of cats, and she's not contagious. I just can't afford a million tests and don't know what to do for Her. I wish I knew a holistic vet, but i don't. she will be going back to the vets this week, that's all i can think of to do right now. Any ideas? Thanks

Nabyia, I'm so lucky to be able to get all my fluids and needles from my vet, for a good cost. the needles she gives Me for free. I haven't read all this yet, but when you said needles were hard to get- i used to order mine from a book, i think it might be online now. called -Revolution. they have good prices, and you can order almost anything you need. Let Me know if you find it. It's for dogs and cats.

PMM, We are very remote too. so i know how you feel. everything is so far away from us. Now, I have to plan a lot more on what i need. and try to make less trips than i used to take to town. If I forget something, tough. I can't go all the way back for one thing.

Yes, if you go backwards, i fed the cats Nutro. And I know Nutmeg ate it, because it was the best I could get around here at that time,. But i have a friend who is now having trouble with Eagle Pack adult natural , feeding it to Her dogs.

The only good thing about living in the country is that if we had to, only if we had to, We could shoot deer, and other things . even for the cats and dogs. But other than that, being in the country, you are all alone and miles from everything. i guess i'd go stay with my daughter and Her husband. They are so good at this stuff. They got us through the hurricane and even had fun while doing it. And they both shoot real good.

Buffett sees "long, deep" U.S. recession Sat May 24, 7:30 AM
BERLIN (Reuters) - The United States is already in a recession and it will be longer as well as deeper than many people expect, U.S. investor Warren Buffett said in an interview published in German magazine Der Spiegel on Saturday. He said the United States was "already in recession" and added: "Perhaps not in the sense that economists would define it" with two consecutive quarters of negative growth.
"But the people are already feeling the effects," said Buffett, the world's richest man. "It will be deeper and last longer than many think."
But he said that won't stop him from investing in selected companies and said he remained interested in well-managed German family-owned companies.
"If the world were falling apart I'd still invest in companies," he said.
Buffett also renewed his criticism of derivatives trading.
"It's not right that hundreds of thousands of jobs are being eliminated, that entire industrial sectors in the real economy are being wiped out by financial bets even though the sectors are actually in good health."
Buffett complained about the lack of effective controls.
"That's the problem," he said. "You can't steer it, you can't regulate it anymore. You can't get the genie back in the bottle."
