I mentioned these in other threads, but good to list them here too - Pyrex cookware and Corelle plates are Made in the US. Plastic food storage containers - the "disposables" like Glad & ZipLock are made here. Rubbermaid - some are and some are starting to show "Made in the US of Global Components, so read the labels.
There are a very few companies that have a very few US small kitchen appliances, but they are usually high priced and hard to get. Almost all things like blenders and food processors are MIC now.
Ace Hardware (not sure if they are in your area) carries more US-made things than anyone else it seems, but also a lot of MIC. I haven't had any luck in my area finding any US stuff in the kitchen shops, but others have said they do, so it might be a regional thing.
Some cast iron skillets like Lodgeware and some of the oven and canning pots and pans that are blue enamel with white speckes are US. I use those a lot to cook the pets' food.
Real labels on everything and good luck finding US made goods!

It would be good to know the phosphorous content of these for older or kidney compromised kitties. Has anyone run the dry matter P for the cat food flavors? If not, I'll try to get to it sometime this weekend if they have the numbers posted on the website.
I'm going to try the canned turkey CORE on my little dog. The CORE dry fish formula isn't going over too good for him, and he's so small and old I feel better having him on canned.

Most Corelle dinnerware is still made in the US, and is glass-based vs. ceramic based if anyone is looking for new stuff for people or pets.
Watch the coffee cups in some of the sets though - I think some of those are imported. I was thinking about grabbing a new set in case production of those get sent overseas too.

I hope Thunder manages to keep eating on her own and her appetite picks up soon. Wonder what has her appetite suppressed right now. Do you think subq fluids would help her or would that be too upsetting for her? Good luck on getting her to accept all those food offerings!

Sludge in feed seems to be the liquid mess that is left after extracting the "good" stuff, or wastewater from slaughterhouses: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5087474.htmlhttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3775751I didn't mean to imply the pet food companies were lying about Naturox. What I said was in the past their websites said they only purchased fish preserved with Naturox, not ethoxyquin. Now I can't find that info anymore on their websites, so I wondered if they had switched to ethoxyquin-preserved fish to cut costs.

Wow, that's scary carolo! I worry a lot too about med and hospital safety. It's bad enough they do so many screw-ups, but now we have to worry about the meds being poison too.
My mother just had her prescription eye meds changed to generic brand by her insurance co. She says since she started using them, the sight in her good eye is more blurry. Worries the heck out of me, but it's very expensive stuff to buy out of pocket.
