I hate shopping @ WMart, and it's just down the street. There is no security in the parking lots at all, there are never enough check out registers open and I'm pissed off before I even get in there. The only thing I usually pick up is paper products & kittly litter. They have no customer service and I avoid the store like the plague! Their business practices with suppliers as well as associate pay & benefits is deplorable. Not to mention the 90% of their products from China. Just read a great book "The Walmart Effect" by Charles Fishman. Highly recommend it.

Ranger, On the tapizole, (and I realize your situation may be different), could her numbers be changing because they haven't found the right "balance" for the tapizole? The reason I mention it, my Sassy who is now 15 has been on tapizole for 3+ years now. It took a while to figure out the correct dosage, but she's doing just fine with it now. I only recently learned of the radioactive iodine but with 6 cats the cost is prohibitive for me. With the exception of neutering, none have been left overnight at the vet's (thank goodness) because I too think that is very stressfull and often exacerbates the problems. You're doing a fabulous job, stop beating yourself up! Take a deep breath now and then and know we are all keeping you in our thoughts.

I've got one kitty, Punkin, she lovest to chew off little pieces of plastic bags? She is very fast & sneaky about it too. Usually I hear the crinkling noise and then she barfs it up. I think in your case, it must have been a small piece, since she didn't cough or gag & I'm sure she'll pass it through. Thoughts are with you, doing it all the right way... we are all awaiting poopie results.

Judy, so relieved to hear she made it thru the surgery. My prayers continue with you both. She's a tough little fighter and is probably confused and frightened. I hope she gets to go home soon and with your loving care recovers completely and quickly. She may not be eating because of the anesthesia. She's been through a lot, so have you! Easy for me to say, but... try to get some rest and keep up the positive, loving thoughts. Hugs to you both.

Orange Fuzball, It does get easier each time you do it. I hate needles and pass out every time my blood has been taken. But I did manage to do this for my kitty, Remo. I also had to do it alone and was very stressed out the first time. It can be done and you will do just fine. I also got a little blood a few times and thought I had hurt him, the vet said that was normal. With time I got it right and no blood. Relax, breathe and remember you do so for love. My thoughts are with you.
