Patricia, You are so right about toilet paper, and things like that. when hurricane Isabel hit here, we hadn't stocked up. So many trees were down, and no power in town, they wouldn't let the trucks come up from Raliegh. So, no food in the stores, [they had to throw it all out because of no power. And no trucks coming in, I know a little of what can happen. and it was horrible. So now I know some things that you just have to have. and we had no power for 14 days.
If things get real bad, it will be a lot longer than that.
It's so scarey to go to town [when We finally could] and see no traffic lights, no lights in stores, nothing.
That's the situation I am anticipating - hoping it won't get that bad, but I want to be prepared. My hubby and I are making a list of things we would have a hard time living without if there was some kind of shortage. (Of course, toilet paper is #1 on both of our lists!)
It brings up an interesting question - what things can't you live without?
