Wow you are untop of things.
They made 2 others into movies right The Pact and Plain Truth right?
I have not watched The Pact still want to read that one first. I think it was the first one I ever bought and have yet to read silly me.

I saw Animal Cracker the Marx Brothers right? Very funny
I was also thinking today about Topper was that a tv show or a movie
Plain Truth was a movie and that was pretty good. The Pact was a movie too but I have never seen it. I do that sometimes as well - buy books that sit in my bookcase for years until I finally read them!

How about these:
The Court jester - Danny Kaye Singing in the rain Animal crackers ("One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.”)
For old but good SciFi:
Logan's run Enemy mine
Logan's Run was a really good movie. I would love to see a remake of it with today's special effects.

Other/Misc / Off Topic (No Politics) / Anyone Into Juicing?

In an effort to live a healthier lifestyle, I bought a Power Juicer Pro by Jack LaLanne. It is wonderful! Today I made juice with celery, cherry tomatoes and apples. I was surprised at how good it was. Delicious! Tomorrow I am off to the local farm stand to see what they have in the way of fruits and veggies. (Our cherry crop took a big hit this year between an early frost and hail last week.) Just wondering if anyone on here is into juicing and what recipes or tips you can share!

My sister's Keeper is still my fav though out of the 4 I have read. Perfect Match and Plain Truth were the other 2. Did you see lifetime is have her book the Tenth Circle on as a movie. well now I am blabbling about books in th movie section sorry. LOL Yes, I remember! Lifetime will be airing The Tenth Circle on Sat, June 28th @ 9 pm et. I can't wait to see it! I hope they did a good job. I wish they'd make more of her books into movies. And as fate would have it, I am watching Lover Come Back with Doris Day!

I haven't been on this board long enough to know that many people but I'm a 10-year veteran of being on boards in general. I've seen problems on every board I've been a member of - whether it be about the NY Yankees, an alumni site, an artist's group or a tv show. People take offense at something that is written, sometimes people are attacked and bullied. Everything always starts off great and then sours somewhere along the way.
I try to keep in mind that members of these boards come from all walks of life, varying in age, politics, lifestyles, etc. There will always be differing opinions. You have to have a thick skin on these boards as they are not for the easily offended. You have to shrug off a lot of stuff and not take things personally if you want to continue being a member.
I learned all this the hard way, of course! Now if I encounter unpleasantness on a board, I completely ignore it. I work too hard to have a happy life and I won't let some unknown entity on the internet cause me one minute's grief.
Hopefully all hurt parties will come back and keep posting their valuable info.

Yes, you can't go wrong with Alfred Hitchcock...... Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Stangers on a Train, Psycho, Birds, Dial M for Murder, Rope, Vertigo, Family Plot.
The Shining, Shawshank Redemption, Jaws, Gone With the Wind, Forrest Gump, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Grapes of Wrath, The Good Earth, 12 Angry Men (original), Full Metal Jacket, Anatomy of a Murder, Shaun of the Dead, A Raisin in the Sun - all more of my faves.
An often overlooked movie that I really like is Toys in the Attic, based on a Lillian Hellman play.
