I concur with a lot of other posters. I'm glad Nina is feeling better, but I'd get a second opinion. Your vet "forgets" to call you repeatedly, which is irresponsible. And he characterizes Nina's problems as behavioural and yet prescribes a bunch of heavy duty meds, which suggests to me that he doesn't really know what's wrong but his ego won't let him admit it.

Hoping Nina continues to improve, regardless of what happens with the vet.

That's normal. Windows puts out a validation tool with its critical updates every so often. They call it a "notification tool", but its real purpose is to try and catch people using their software illegally. If your copy of Windows is legal, it won't mess anything up.

I am consistently amazed by how much smarter they are than we give them credit for. Even my own Kitty Dumbass.

That's good to know! Maybe she was stressed out in the shelter and biting was her way of expressing that. And now she feels safe.
