Carolo- The Bissell healthy home is great for pet hair & allergens. Its very heavy though. I have that,a dyson as a 2nd for upstairs & recently got a small kenmore cannister for quick pickups on bare floors.

Sandi -Is there anywhere near you that can do an EKG to be sure ? Remy was also worse in the morning & I think it was going overnight without extra fluids. His heart murmer was worse while he was dehydrated & improved after the IV.The cardiologist & internist both said animals can present with heart problems just from the dehydration which resolve by themselves after fluids.

The filters are replaceable in the pitchers. Mine isn't new & is made here,but no idea where they are made now.

Trudy- Try a Brita,Pur or Zero water pitcher. It will help.They also make attachments for the kitchen faucet.The reverse osmosis is supposed to be the best,but its pricey.

Didn't someone find an article that said melamine or 1 of the other adulterates currently in all our food has a calming effect ? They want us to live the song;don't worry be happy. That way no one will question or object to these bailouts.

It shouldn't be this hard to help homeless animals. Very glad you & your friend got involved though,you have made a big difference !
