I'll be anxious to hear about your kitty does with it.  I still have 1/2 a bag of the "old" formula, but it won't last long.  I've been mixing it with Origen so at least I'll have another he likes just in case.

Geoff,

My bag is the "old style" bluish-green plastic with a zip top.

I have a 4 lb bag of CN I bought about 3 weeks ago with an expiration of 09/04/08. It has grit like the last few bags I've had, but DOES not include "rice" in the ingredients, only brown rice.

I haven't tried the new bag since I just opened an "old" bag.  There are a few things that have changed when I compared my "old" bag with their website.  Can't they leave well enough alone?Huh? Cry

I was owned by a Pyr for 10 years.  She was kindest most gentle animal I've ever known.  I still miss her.

All we can hope for is that they will hear us eventually.  [sigh]

Geoff,

I second your letter.  I have a kitty that cannot tolerate fruits and veggies either.  Cats were not made to eat blueberries and sweet potatoes.  Shocked

I've written to Wellness and asked them to consider making a cat food with few ingredients similar to Natura's California Natural.

I'm so glad to hear Kaffe's poop was better today. Grin

My Persian kitty came to me with giardia and ringworm.  I used Flagyl and got clean cultures pretty quickly.  The poor guy was a mess when I got him though and terribly thin.

I'm in the midwest near Chicago.

I use Revolution March through December or January depending on how cold it is.

No fleas  Grin

One indoor cat who has had fleas twice.  We've brought them in from outside so we treat the cat and the yard.

I thought I had the only cat that would meow after using the box so I'll come and clean it.  It's a riot...I call myself "the litter maid" because who needs an automatic box when I come and scoop after each use.   Grin

Although my sweet IBD kitty, Chloe has since gone to the Rainbow Bridge I still keep track of all poop.  Don't keep a journal anymore, but noting stool characteristics is sometimes the first clue that something is wrong with Andy.  Even before he looks or acts a bit off he might have a little bit of loose stool.  After so many years of having an IBD kitty it's just second nature to keep track  Wink

The poop journal made perfect sense to me, but my DH thought I was nuts.  It's so much easier to have everything down on paper if kitty got sick.  I knew exactly what meds she was on, dosages, food and of course what the poop schedule was.   Grin
