I have to admit I'm glad the carrots, blueberries and squash are gone, but I'm still not thrilled with potatoes either.  I guess there's just no pleasing me  Tongue

I tried the survey yesterday and got the same result.  It locked up after I answered I had one cat.

Our prices are still $4.25 in the suburbs of Chicago.

I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago and just about fainted yesterday when I drove past the gas station.  Shocked Gas was $4.05 in the morning and 10 hours later was $4.19. We live in the suburbs, but in the city itself it's just about $4.50.  Will this ever end?

I'm proud to say I live the area with the highest gas prices, Chicago.  Yesterday it was $4.03 down from $4.08.  It now costs almost $70.00 to drive back and forth to work each week. Cry

I'm feeding Orijen with about 12 pieces of California Natural (chicken and rice).  I like the lower carb value of Orijen and since Andy has a tendency toward loose stools the Orijen has really fixed that problem.  He also eats 1/4 can of Wellness wet food each day.  Orijen also came recommended here at Itchmo.

JJ,

Yesterday it was "down" to $3.19.  I just don't understand why some communities have gas that is so much lower.  I try to buy out of Cook County because that helps with some of the tax.

I paid $3.24 for regular yesterday  Shocked  in the Chicago suburbs.  It's even higher in the city proper.
12  Pet Behavior and Health Questions / Veterinary and Medications / Re: Flagyl for cats? on: January 04, 2008, 06:13:22 AM
I used Flagyl for my IBD kitty whenever she had a flare-up.  It's extremely bitter and so I would have it made up at a compounding pharmacy into a capsule. I would give the capsule and the follow with a syringe of water to be sure it went down, otherwise she would foam from the bitterness.

I'll be anxious to hear about your kitty does with it.  I still have 1/2 a bag of the "old" formula, but it won't last long.  I've been mixing it with Origen so at least I'll have another he likes just in case.

Geoff,

My bag is the "old style" bluish-green plastic with a zip top.

I have a 4 lb bag of CN I bought about 3 weeks ago with an expiration of 09/04/08. It has grit like the last few bags I've had, but DOES not include "rice" in the ingredients, only brown rice.
